What we do:
Working to provide training to NVQ level for youth of Blyth Valley Area in specific skills for Woodworking, boat restoration and building marine engineering / metal fabrication. Also providing volunteer opportunities to pass on skills to trainees.

Operating the Port of Blyth heritage museum and archives with a dedicated group of volunteers that have to date recorded and catalogued over 2000 items and photographs from port records.

Operating and renovation of recently acquired Tall Ship Haabet. Once renovations are complete we will recreate the voyage of Captain William Smith to South Georgia and the Antarctic in 2019 with local crews over a 12 month period.


How to Join
Friends of Blyth Tall Ship always welcome. New members meeting 1st Wednesday of Month. Various opportunities exist within the group for all skill levels.
